Eric Mabela is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in insurance compliance and regulatory affairs. He has held leadership roles at MPE Consultants, where he has supported insurers in navigating complex regulatory environments and managing licensing and compliance processes. Eric is notably recognised for successfully leading the licensing application for South Africa’s first black-owned microinsurer, underscoring his deep expertise in financial services regulation and microinsurance. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Limpopo and postgraduate diplomas in compliance from the University of Johannesburg.
